Compiled below is a rearrangement of Apple’s published VoiceOver key commands charts, edited/confirmed for macOS High Sierra.

Editor’s note: VO Key Commands are arranged by Levels. Press and hold the keys below while typing any other key.

Level One: Press Control-Option.
Level Two: Press Control-Option-Shift.
Level Three: Press Control-Option-Command.
Level Four: Press Control-Option-Command-Shift.

A “Combined Listing” has been provided at the end of this document. This offers an arrangement by keypress, with all Control keys and notes included, per key.

  • Nov 11, 2019  Choose whether to share Voice Control data. If you're okay with sharing snippets of what you say with Apple, tap the blue Allow button. If not, tap the Don't Allow link. Now that you've gone through the initial setup process for Voice Control, you can quickly enable or disable the feature by toggling the 'Voice Control' switch on or off.
  • OS X Mavericks: How to control your Mac with your voice While it doesn't offer Siri (yet) you can already control your Mac using speech – you can even add more spoken word commands using Automator.

This video will introduce voice controls in macOS. Specifically, we will see how to set up voice controls so that Siri can be activated with a simple voice command. In the process, you'll learn how to enable voice commands, how to use preset voice commands, and how to create custom commands.

Except for the Combined List which is my own arrangement, all information is presented as true as possible to Apple’s original materials.
