i just bought a new HP PSC7200 but i can't use it as i would.
My scenario is:
i connected printer to my wifi and this worked correctely (i can see the print from router's dhcp client list and i can get to local http page of the printer).
Then i installed last driver & software downloaded from hp site (ver 9.7.1. for 217 mb and fix for leopard).
As i start the application to install software and driver, the application show me device found to install: the list is empty. Ok, i can add device from ip address and i insert the address of C7200 printer (192.168.1.103) but every time i have this message: 'The installation assistant can't connect to the device. Verify ip address and that the device is on' (it's a translation from italian :P).
I tried everything: turn off and on the printer, restart my notebook, reconfigure ip address of the printer, uninstall and reinstall driver and application. Nothing to do. The assistant can't see the printer but i can connect to her from http://192.168.1.103/ page.
At the moment i was able to set up printer in mac os printer preferences. But it seems i can print randomly and anyway there's no possibilities to use scanner on wifi connection.
I read.. too late.. this printer had compatibility problem with leopard as tracked by different users. I read all the solutions proposed but no one fit to my scenario.
Could you help me please?
