I just got the Hauppauge HD PVR 1212 and downloaded the HDPVRCapture program for mac. Works like a charm and couldn't be happier! Only problem is I can't find the right video converting software for that ideal video/audio.

I tried 'Smart Converter' from the App Store and it works video quality wise, but audio is below par and I'm too cautious about buying any other video converting software.

Mac software best. Windows 7 32-bit. Windows 8 32-bit. Windows 8 64-bit.

Hauppauge wintv free download - Hauppauge Tuner WinTV HVR1200.zip, Hauppauge WinTV NOVA Adapter, Hauppauge WinTV NOVA Adapter, and many more programs. My only conclusion is that unless I stream under 540p and 1.5mbps as per Hauppauge's facebook admin's suggestion (which helps keep a stable stream, but doesn't fix the constant crashes, and as reference the Xbone streams at 720p and 2.5mbps), wait for Hauppauge to at least update the device and software to be stable to stream, or wait for OBS.
