Mac Os X Installing Software Update Stuck

Aug 04, 2019  What to do if your Mac freezes during software installation. If you’re positive that the Mac isn’t still working on updating your software then run through the following steps: 1. Shut down, wait a few seconds, then restart your Mac. Press and hold the power button to shut down and start your Mac back up. Go to System Preferences Software Update.

Oct 09, 2019  Luckily, there appears to be a super simple fix for this issue: Just restart. Hold down the power button on your Mac until it turns off, and then power it back. Force quitting and re-opening the App Store doesn't help, nor does a reboot. When I open the App Store, the update is still at the same process. Jun 22, 2018  If you are experiencing this issue with your update, here are a few tips that you can use to address this issue. Before proceeding with the steps below, we suggest that you ensure your Mac’s clock is correct. If your Mac’s Date&Time do not match your current timezone or date, macOS often won’t install. Go to System Preferences Date & Time.
