Mac Wont Load A Software Update
I just wanted to thank everyone for these forums to help out with our computer problems!! Thanks so much! Anyway, I am having some problems with Software Update. I go Apple -> Software Update. It loads for about two seconds and then says that I am not connected to the internet by saying “Software Update cant connect to the update server. Make sure you’re connected to the Internet, then try again. Software Update cant check for updates because of a network problem.” I am clearly connected to the internet. Safari works and so does everything else. I have looked on another part of these forums and it says to connect to apple.com first. I have tried that too. It also said to ping apple.com with network utility. Did that too, and that didn’t work either. I would really love to update my software on my iBook G4. I now have Mac OS X 10.4.10. If anyone could help me out that would be awesome! Thanks so much,
