  At the moment there are similar problems with the Windows version of MyDrive Connect (MDC), 'busy servers'.
  TomTom advice FAQ:

  What works with the Windows version, to try with the Mac version:
  For connection loss of MDC, often a clean installation solves the problem.
  With your device Not connected to the PC:
  1 / Uninstall MDC, accept the removal of downloads in the popup window.
  2 / 'Restart' your PC (Not Shut Down or Sleep)
  3 / Download and install the last version MDC, take it here, at the bottom, the green button 'Download for ..':

  4 / 'Log in' with your email and password.

• You have to remove MyDrive connect completely..download for free .Revo uninstaller.this program completely removes all remnants of a program..once it removes My Drive Connect..then reinstall it

  On the rare occasions I have a problem with myDrive Connect
  I Delete MyDrive Connect using the free version of Revo Uninstaller then Reinstall MyDrive Connect..

  I'm on a Mac but have found the two folders you mentioned (Home3 and MyDriveConnect) and deleted them. Hurrah. that's done the trick after a couple of frustrating weeks I've updated it successfully.
