Get Rid of Old iPhone Backups from your PC/Mac

Step 1: “Launch iTunes” and tap on “iTunes” from the Menu Bar.

Step 2: From the drop-down, select “Preferences”.

Step 3: Under the Preferences, select “Devices”.

Step 4: In the next screen, you’ll see all your previous backups which have accumulated for over the years.

Select the one which you want to delete and tap on “Delete Backup”. In case you wish to delete multiple backups, tap & hold the “Shift key” and select the backups accordingly. Finally, delete the backups.

Delete iOS Software Update

You don’t need to delete an iOS Software Update unless you are short on space as whenever there’s an update, the previous file gets replaced by the newly downloaded file.

For Mac Users

Step 1: Launch “Finder” and tap on “Go” from the Menu Bar.

Step 2: Tap & hold the “Option key” and you’ll see “Library” under the Go tab. Tap on it.

Step 3: Search for the “iTunes” folder and open it.
